Suspect in Buford burglary identified

The suspect of the Nalley's II burglary in Buford has been identified, but police are still looking for the man.

According to a press release by the Gwinnett County Police Department, several people came forward to identify Douglas "Wayne" McDaniel, 50, of Buford, as the suspect caught on camera during the burglary at Nalley's II tackle and convenience store in Buford. 

McDaniel has an active warrant for burglary. His whereabouts are unknown at this time, but he frequents the Buford area.

The identity of the driver of the Ford Ranger is still unknown.

The burglary happened around 3 a.m. on Sunday, August 18 at 5671 Shadburn Ferry Road. 

Police urge tipsters to come forward with information that may lead to the drivers identity and the location of McDaniel.
