Hall County deputies will not file charges in the death of a 22 day old infant in June

The Hall County Sheriff's Office does not plan to file charges in the case where a month old infant died after a fatal dog bite in June.
 
However, Hall County Animal Control and Enforcement Director Mike Ledford said their investigation remains ongoing.
 
He added that there was no additional information to release at this time and he gave no word on the status of the family pet accused in the death of the 22 day old child.
 
The incident happened June 9th at a residence off Gillsville Highway.
