Braselton Main Street has earned recertification after meeting the performance standards set by the National Main Street Center.
The Center recognizes exemplary commitment to preservation-based economic development and community revitalization. Braselton first achieved Main Street status in 2015.
"Once again, we met the challenging standards to reach the recertification level, and we enjoy the staff and volunteer training, resources, project funding and generous support from state and national economic development programs," said Braselton Main Street Director Amy Pinnell in a recent press statement.
According to the National Main Street Center, the review criteria determines the communities that are building comprehensive and sustainable revitalization efforts and includes standards such as fostering public-private partnerships, documenting progress and actively preserving historic buildings.
