The Georgia State Patrol continues to investigate a deadly accident in Jackson that killed a Danielsville man.
Investigators said Monday Robert Dillon Hamby, 28, lost control a van he was driving on Cabin Creek Road near Wilson Cemetery Road just after 4:00 AM, when it left the roadway, struck a ditch and a tree, then overturned and caught fire.
Hamby was pronounced dead on the scene. The Jackson County Sheriff's Office said the van had been reported stolen.
