ALPHARETTA — The Class 4A No. 3-ranked Chestatee boys soccer team won its fifth straight game taking a tough 2-1 victory over Denmark Friday in Region 7-4A action.
The win for the War Eagles (7-2-1, 4-0 Region 7-4A) kept them in sole possession of first place in the region standings. Thy have not allowed more than two goals in any match this season.

The Lady War Eagles (2-7-1, 0-3 Region 7-4A) dropped their fifth straight match in a tough Region 7-4A overtime loss.
The game was tied 1-1 at the end of regulation but the Lady Danes (2-5, 1-2) tallied a goal in the extra time to pull out the victory.
Kyleigh Drew got the lone goal for Chestatee on an assist by Sara Cuevas.
