An inmate was found dead in the Forsyth County Jail Sunday morning.
Cpl. Doug Rainwater with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office said as a jailer was making rounds around 4:30 a.m. to awaken inmates for breakfast, he discovered Timothy Theodore Weidler, 40, of Auburn unresponsive in his cell.
After a medical examination, Weidler was pronounced dead.
At this point, foul play is not suspected in the death, according to Rainwater. The body has been turned over to the GBI crime lab for autopsy.
