MONROE — Sergio Turcios continued to light up the scoreboard netting six goals Monday night to lead the Class 3A second-ranked East Hall boys soccer team to a 10-0 win over Monroe Area.
Maury Ibarra scored two goals and Victor Murillo and Averen Samuals each scored one goal for the the Vikings (3-1-1). Giovanny Avila, Freddy Rebollar and Turcios each had two assists while Romeo Serrano and Daniel Rodriguez had one assist apiece.
Daniel Carrillo had three saves in goal on the night for East Hall, which won for the second consecutive match.
Meanwhile, the East Hall girls fell to 2-2 with a 6-1 loss to Monroe Area.
Denci Murillo scored the Lady Vikings' lone goal. Kaia Rice had seven saves in goal for East Hall.
