No one knows for sure what will come out of a meeting of the Buford City School Board Monday night.
There's no published agenda on the school system website, so it's uncertain whether board members will discuss any action regarding the search for a new system superintendent.
Geye Hamby, the former superintendent, was placed on leave Wednesday by the board, and then he resigned Friday after a long-time employee of the school system filed a lawsuit claiming racial discrimination. The lawsuit included audio recordings reported to be Hamby using racial slurs.
Monday's meeting, scheduled for 7 p.m., is a regularly scheduled meeting for board members.
The Buford City School District Central Office is located at 2625 Sawnee Avenue.
