The Oakwood Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man who shoplifted a chainsaw from Ace Hardware in Oakwood earlier this year.
"The suspect entered the business of Ace Hardware on April 5, 2018 and selected an Echo Chainsaw," Sgt. Todd Templeton wrote in an email Friday. "The suspect then proceeded to the front of the store and ran out the front door with the chainsaw."
Sgt. Templeton said the man was seen leaving the parking lot in a black Honda.
