GAINESVILLE — Former Chestatee standout Austin Sargent signed a scholarship on Wednesday to play baseball at Emmanuel College.
Sargent, a pitcher, helped lead the War Eagles to their first-ever playoff appearance in program history this past season.
Chestatee lost to LaGrange in the first round of the Class AAAA playoffs.
