Northeast Georgia Health System named Bo Dean, who works in medical transport for Northeast Georgia Medical Center, its 2017 Employee of the Year during the second of three events this week to recognize long-tenured employees for their service.
“Each year the selection committee has the tough task of selecting one of the amazing Employees of the Month, as Employee of the Year,” said Carol Burrell, president and CEO of NGHS. “Bo Dean made it easy for this year’s selection, showing generosity and humbleness in all that he does.”
Dean joined NGHS in 2013, and was recognized as Employee of the Month for July 2015. He and his wife Brittany have three children – Cade (13), Emme (11) and Averie (two).
When Dean is not working for NGHS, he is busy working for the Banks County Fire Department and the Jackson Fire Department.
During the Service Award Banquets this week, NGHS recognized 759 employees for their tenure:
277 for five years of service
350 for 10-15 years of service
132 for 20-40 years of service.
