WARNER ROBINS — The Buford girls soccer team had no issues with the road on Friday.

The Lady Wolves traveled to Warner Robins and knocked out Veterans High School 3-1 in the quarterfinals of the Class AAAAA tournament, sealing their third semifinal berth in five seasons.

Region 8-AAAAA champion Buford will play host to Whitewater in the "Final Four" on Tuesday after winning a coin flip against the Region 3-AAAAA champs.

The Lady Wolves (16-2-2) charged to a 2-0 first half lead on Friday and made it 3-0 before the Lady Warhawks pulled one goal back -- but it was far too late to stop Buford's run to the semifinals.

Kylie Buchanan scored once in each half, while Morgan Smith added a first half strike for Buford. Cameron Hall added one assist, and Maggie Leland recorded 10 saves in goal.
