Only two boys teams were in action around northeast Georgia in the second round of the Georgia High School Association soccer playoffs on Thursday.
Unfortunately, neither was able to get past a pair of highly-ranked teams.
In Class 2A former No. 1-ranked Union County traveled to current No. 1 Model in a titanic showdown. The Panthers pushed the Blue Devils to the limit but fell 1-0 in the second overtime to get eliminated.
In Class 3A, Dawson County fell to No. 2 Hebron Christian, 6-0.
Six more boys teams will be in action on Friday.
