CHATSWORTH — The East Hall boys soccer team closed out its regular season Friday night with a tough 3-2 victory over Northwest Whitfield on the road.
The Vikings finished 14-4 and as the No. 2 seed from Region 7-AAA with a 5-1 region record.
Against Northwest Whitfield, Brandon Callahan scored two goals and Diego Alarcon scored one goal for East Hall. Carlos Castrjon had two assists and Carlos Pulido added one assist for the Vikings.
Johan Rodriguez had 10 saves in goal for the Vikings.
In girls action, the Lady Vikings finished their season with a 10-0 lose to Northwest Whitfield. The Lady Vkings finished 2-15-1 on the season.
The boys will continue their season next week playing host to Stone Mountain on Wednesday in the first round of the Class AAA playoffs. Kickoff is slated for 6:30 p.m. at East Hall Stadium.
