LOGANVILLE — The Buford girls soccer team clinched the Region 8-AAAAA title with a 3-1 win over Loganville Friday night.
It was the fifth straight region title for the Lady Wolves (12-1-2, 6-0 Region 8-AAAAA) spanning three classifications. They next will play host South Forsthy on Tuesday.
Maria Maggio had all three goals for Buford. Morgan Smith, Kylie Buchanan, and Ava Sherman each had one assist for the Lady Wolves.
