By AccessWDUN staff

Remington Smith, a Hall County Early College "Move On When Ready" student and Flowery Branch High School senior, says he had "a dream come true" when he found out recently that he was accepted into Ringling College of Arts and Design in Animation Art in Sarasota, Florida.

College/Lanier Tech Animation Professor Jason Hutto calls Smith "a quick study, a hard worker, and someone who is able to match creative vision with productive energy in order to make his ideas meet reality. I'm confident that Smith will be an asset to this elite design school."

Smith's portfolio included many of his animation art drawings as well as his fall Animation final project for Hutto, a three minute animated piece.

According to the 2017 Animation Career Review, Ringling is in the top 10 animation schools in the country.  Its Animation program has been ranked by 3D World magazine as #1 in North America for several years in a row.
