The Gainesville girls tennis team beat Winder Barrow 4-1 on Tuesday in Region 8-AAAAAA action.
Haley Frankum beat Kathryn Faulkner 6-4, 6-2 at No. 1 singles, Ali Waggoner defeated Laney Finch 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 sngles, and the Lady Red Elephants swept the doubles.
Paige Patterson and Grace O’Keefe beat Cassie Hunter and Anna Bass 6-2; 6-0 at No. 1 and Madi Kiser and Paige Patterson defeated Rachael McCain and Lauren McNally 7-5; 6-0 at No. 2 doubles.
Winder-Barrow got its lone win at No. 2 singles when Scarlett Woodard knocked off Grayson Wagner 6-3, 6-1.
