GAINESVILLE — The Gainesville girls soccer team battled past Winder-Barrow for a 4-3 overtime win on Tuesday in Gainesville.
Cindy Bonilla bagged three goals for the Lady Red Elephants, to help seal their first Region 8-AAAAAA victory of the campaign. Kate Bush also scored for Gainesville.
Iris Bonilla and Nayeli Espinoza each provided assists for the Lady Red Elephants (2-7-1, 1-3 Region 8-AAAAAA)
Gainesville travels to face Lanier at 5:30 p.m. Friday.
