BUFORD — The Buford girls soccer team notched its first win of the season taking a 6-1 victory over Lovett Tuesday night at home.
Morgan Smith paced Buford (1-1) with two goals and two assists. Arden Paulino had two goals, Angeli Burgos one goal, and Maria Maggio had a goal and an assist for the Lady Wolves.
Ava Sherman, Cameron Hall, and Sydney McCullough each had one assist for Buford.
Maggie Leland (four saves) and Caleigh Rowan (two saves) each played well in goal.
Buford next will travel to Pinecrest Academy on Friday.
