Chestnut Mountain Academy hosted al "Community Heroes BBQ" Friday.
The staff and students were joined by several businesses and other community organizations for the second annual event. Some provided food while others offered door prizes.
The school was expecting about 100 firemen, policemen, linemen, doctors, nurses, dentist, teachers, etc, to enjoy a BBQ luncheon with its Georgia Lottery funded Pre-K students, according to the school's Kristen Fralick.
