GAINESVILLE — Riverside Military Academy dropped its third straight Region 8-A game Friday, falling to Hebron Christian 31-14 at Maginnis Field.
The Eagles (1-4, 1-4 Region 8-A) never led and fell behind 14-0 in the second quarter before Isaac Teasley cut the lead in half with a 58-yard touchdown run.
Hebron Christian (3-1, 2-1) scored 17 straight points to pull away for a 31-7 lead.
Riverside finished the scoring when Lyle Lopez hit Khalid Duke for a 15-yard touchdown pass off a tipped ball.
The Eagles schedule doesn’t get any easier as they play host to Athens Academy next Friday in another tough 8-A battle.
