The human remains found Friday at a vacant lot on Jesse Jewell Parkway in Gainesville are those of a 59-year-old Gainesville man who had been reported missing.
The Gainesville Police Department confirmed the remains were those of Ricky Lee Sealey.
At this point, authorites are awaiting autopsy results before releasing a cause of death for Sealey.
A member of the family told AccessWDUN that Sealey had been reported missing about two weeks ago.
