Six people were arrested after drug agents searched an apartment in Cleveland Wednesday.
According to a release from the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office, their agency and Cleveland Police executed a search warrant at 61 Wanda Drive and seized 20 grams of suspected methamphetamine and 10 grams of suspected heroin, as well as a handgun and over $2000.
The meth was worth roughly $2,200 and the heroin was worth about $2000 on the street, according to the release.
Billy Joe "BJ" Franklin, 27, of Cleveland; Megan McMillian, 19, of Cleveland; Bradley Taylor, 31, of Baldwin; Francesca Craig, 23, of Baldwin; Brittany Broom, 28, of Demorest; and Kevin McDuffie 37, of Clarkesville all faces charges of conspiracy to distribute meth.
Franklin and McMillian both face additional charges of trafficking heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, and possession of meth with intent to distribute. McDuffie faces a possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony charge.
The investigation is ongoing.
