The Hall County Planning Commission is scheduled to hear a rezoning request next month for a 16.7-acre tract of land in East Hall where an agri-entertainment venue is planned.
Todd and Becky Jordan are asking that the property be rezoned from R-1 to AR-III. It is located on Old Cornelia Highway near M G Drive.
Also on the agenda for the Sept. 6 meeting are two requests involving plans for small subidivisions.
Boys of Fall, LLC, is asking that 5.1 acres on on Ponderosa Road at Tanners Mill Road be rezoned from AR-111 to R-1 for a proposed six-lot subdivision. The same zoning is being sought for 6.97 acres on Calvary Church Road near Poplar Springs Road where a five-lot subdivision is planned.
The planning board meets at 5:15 at the county Government Center.
