Miller appointed to music development comittee by Lt. Gov. Cagle

Senator Butch Miller of Gainesville was appointed to the Joint Music Economic Development Study Committee by Lt. Governor Casey Cagle Friday.
 
Miller joins 13 others, including Senator Jeff Mullis of Chickamauga as co-chairman and Senator Tyler Harper of Ocilla. Other committee members include industry professionals Michelle Caplinger, Stephen Weizeneck and Matt Sill.
 
Recognizing the influence the music industry has on Georgians, Senate Resolution 1027 was passed during the 2016 Legislative Session. Committee members will examine ways to expand, promote and foster collaboration between the music community and other creative industries.
