Plans for a massive mixed-used development in South Hall are scheduled to be considered by the Hall County Board of Commissioners this week.
Commissioners are expected to receive a planning commission report on Atlanta River Walk at a Monday work session. The county planning commission signed off on the proposal during a meeting on June 20.
Plans for the 508-acre, $700 million project to be built on Old Winder Highway call for 1,260 residential units, more than 350,000 square feet of retail space, more than 480,000 square feet of office space, two hotels and a convention center, all built around a man-made water feature.
ARW Group, LLC announced plans for the project in a press release on April 29.
