Immigration groups in Atlanta plan a rally Monday demanding a moratorium on deportations in the wake of this week's U.S. Supreme Court ruling.
That ruling overturned President Obama's executive order on immigration. Immigrant groups in Atlanta and across the country are calling on him and the Department of Homeland Security to take further action and for his potential successors to take up their call.
The Atlanta rally will be held Monday outside the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Field Office, calling on the Obama Administration to put a moratorium on deportations now.
The Supreme Court ruling put about five million undocumented parents back at risk for deportation, according to rally organizers.
