Authorities said a fire in Gainesville Wednesday that injured one person was accidental, and that electricity was the likely culprit.
Cpt. Zach Brackett, spokesman for Hall County Fire Services, said in an email the fire in the Rosewood subdivision on Thornbush Drive caused about $80-thousand worth of damage.
The occupant of the home was injured from a fall while getting out of the 1,200-square foot home.
Crews also had to put out a nearby woods fire that was sparked from the house fire.
