JASPER - Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, a 52-bed facility, has posted on their Facebook Page a congratulatory message and photograph of Charlene and Richard, last names not disclosed, who on Friday were married in Richard's hospital room.
According to the Facebook posting Richard and Charlene have been together for 13 years and decided to officially tie-the-knot before Richard leaves the Pickens County hospital.
The posting adds that hospital staff and friends of the couple decorated the room with flowers and provided a guest book and cake for the nuptials.
