BOGART —The North Hall boys tennis team suffered its first loss of the season Thursday night on the road.
The Trojans fell 4-1 to North Oconee in a darkness-shortened Region 8-AAAA match.
North Oconee swept the singles to get the win. North Hall's Jackson Davis lost to Walker Towns in a an epic three-setter 6-1, 6-7(7-4), 13-11. Dalton Patterson lost to Elijah Bullock 6-0, 6-2 and Reid Lattanzi lost to John Knight 6-0, 6-4.
Paxton Gillespie and Dawson Smith lost to Henri Johnson and Christopher Brandon 6-3, 6-2. The Trojans' lone win came from the doubles team of Daniel Martin and Masa Kobayashi 6-2, 1-6, 10-7
North Hall (6-1, 3-1 Region 8-AAAA) next will travel to Stephens County on Tuesday in another 8-AAAA battle.
