A 15-year-old from Lilburn is now facing murder charges in the shooting death of a man found shot in a car outside a daycare center over the weekend.
Gwinnett County police Monday morning said Caziah Brown is accused of shooting and killing 21-year-old Curtis Oldham. They have not released a motive in the murder.
Police said over the weekend they were called to the daycare center on Saturday afternoon where a woman had apparently driven Oldham as she was trying to get help for him after he was wounded. They did not believe Oldham was shot where he had been transported. He was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Brown was taken into custody around 9:30 p.m. Sunday when SWAT officers surrounded a residence on Lochshyre Way in unincorporated Lawrenceville.
Brown has been charged with felony murder and aggravated assault.
