Two local Red Cross volunteers departed Friday morning with an emergency response vehicle (ERV) to distribute supplies to the victims of the Tennessee wildfires.
Terry and Evelyn Buhite plan to distribute meals, snacks and water to those impacted, according to a press release.
"We are currently deploying volunteers to Tennessee for a variety of functions including but not limited to Individual Client Services, Casework & Recovery Planning, External Relations, Technology, and Mass Care," officials said.
