By AccessWDUN staff

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office is once again partnering with the Boy Scouts of America to host the nationally recognized Law Enforcement Exploring program.

This is a hands-on program open to young men and women who have completed the 6th grade through 20-years-old, and are interested in a career in law enforcement or a related field in the criminal justice system.

According to a press release from the sheriff's office, it offers a personal awareness of the criminal justice system through training, practical experiences, competition, and other activities. Additionally, the program promotes personal growth through character development, respect for the rule of law, physical fitness, good citizenship and patriotism.

Participants will have the opportunity to interact closely with law enforcement experts from the Hall County Sheriff’s Office as they receive hands-on training, knowledge about different areas of law, an opportunity to attend a law enforcement conference, and a chance to participate in regional competitions.
