GAINESVILLE — The North Hall girls basketball team took two overtimes to do it, but the Lady Trojans got some revenge over Banks County on Wednesday, defeating the Lady Leopards 79-66 in Gainesville.
Banks County had won the first of two encounters earlier this season but could not contain North Hall standout Sadie Cleveland this time around, as the junior put up 27 points.
Chloe Barrett also impressed for the Lady Trojans (14-8), scoring 16 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Sarah Hollifield also chipped in with 11 points and Tatum McQuillian 10 .
North Hall will travel to face North Oconee in a Region 8-AAAA contest on Saturday, looking for its fifth straight win.
Banks County (11-10), meanwhile, will play host to Franklin County in a Region 7-AAA game on Friday in Homer.
