SUWANEE—Several roads will close Saturday morning for the Suwanee Fest parade.
City Spokeswoman Lynne DeWilde said the closures will affect the following roads from approximately 8:45 a.m. until 10:15 a.m.:
- Main Street from Stonecypher Rd to Suwanee Dam Rd
- Suwanee Dam Rd from Peachtree Industrial Blvd to Buford Hwy
- Buford Hwy from McGinnis Ferry Rd to Suwanee Dam Rd
She said in an email that Eva Kennedy Rd will only accessible to local traffic from 6:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., since that is where the parade will be staging.
Town Center Avenue will be closed for the duration of the festival, which lasts through the weekend.
Attendees are encouraged to park at one of the city's off-site lots, which can be found on the city's website.
