GAINESVILLE - Residents of Gainesville's Melrose community will have access to career guidance in their own community next month.
The Gainesville Housing Authority Job Blitz on September 16 is a partnership of the GHA, Goodwill and Georgia Mountains Workforce Development. The GMWC's Mobile Career Coach will be stationed in the neighborhood on Wednesday, September 16 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Melrose residents will be able to get assistance as they search and apply for jobs, work on resumes and cover letters and discern their career interests.
The organizations will also be offering information about WIOA tuition assistance, on the job training programs and additional career development opportunities at Goodwill.
The Mobile Career Coach makes rounds in the North Georgia area, stopping in new places each week.
