BRASELTON - The Braselton Farmers Market is set to open for the season on June 5.
Each Friday beginning June 5 through October 16, local farmers will set up on Harrison Street near the Braselton Park from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. to sell their Georgia-grown or homemade products.
The goal is "to support the economic growth of the downtown district by attracting visitors to shop or relax and to provide a sense of community promoting downtown businesses, events and activities," according to a release from the Braselton Downtown office.
Downtown Director Amy Pinnell said in the release she hopes people will take advantage of not only the farmer's market, but it's location. In addition to the popular market, many of our downtown shops are open during market hours, so we encourage all to enjoy the time in our historic downtown."
