GAINESVILLE - The Gainesville Board of Education has been named a 2015 GSBA Exemplary Board by the Georgia School Boards Association (GSBA).
Thirty-four other school boards received similar recognition. To be considered for the distinction, school boards must meet certain criteria that parallel governance standards defined by the state Board of Education.
The announcement was made at the GSBA's recent annual conference in Atlanta.
