2 shot at apartment near University of West Georgia

CARROLLTON, Ga. (AP) Two people have been shot at an apartment complex near the University of West Georgia in Carrollton.

Police tell local media that Thursday evening, two men knocked on the door of an apartment at River's Edge Apartments in West Carrollton. Once inside, the men were shot multiple times. The apartment is less than a mile from the University of West Georgia campus.

Police say there were about six people in the apartment at the time of the shooting and they aren't sure how the victims are connected to them.
