DAWSONVILLE - Dawsonville will be the site of one of three meetings around the state focusing on Affordable Energy Efficient Rural Housing.
The USDA-sponsored events will look at such opportunities through builder and Realtor partnerships.
Participants will be able to learn about the USDA Direct Home Loan Program, energy efficient construction, construction contracts, USDA subdivision loans, and construction inspections.
The first of the meetings was held Tuesday night in Tifton. There will be another Thursday morning in Warner Robins. The Dawsonville meeting is planned for Oct. 22 from 10:00-12:00 at city hall.
