Arrest pending in Hall Co. meth bust; agents find 1.5 kilos of the drug

GAINESVILLE - Hall County drug agents confiscated almost three pounds of methamphetamine during the course of serving two search warrants Friday.<br /> <br /> In a press statement, Hall County Multi Agency Narcotics Squad Lt. Scott Ware said MANS agents and deputies with the Hall County Sheriff's Office served one warrant at a location near McConnell Drive and the second warrant at a residence near Georgia Avenue.<br /> <br /> Ware said agents were able to confiscate one pound of methamphetamine along with a loaded semi-automatic pistol at the McConnell Drive location. Estimated street value of the drugs was $44,800.<br /> <br /> During the course of serving the second search warrant, agents seized approximately one kilogram of methamphetamine, which held an estimated street value of $100,000. They also seized one vehicle and approximately $8,000.<br /> <br /> Ware said an arrest in the case is pending, and the investigation will continue.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
