BALDWIN - The City of Baldwin has discontinued the boil water notice that was issued at 6:40 pm Thursday for the Banks County residents on the City of Baldwin water system in the old 441 and SR 105 area.<br />

The advisory was issued as the result of a water main break and loss of required pressure in that section of the water system as required by the state environmental protection division.<br />
<br />
Bacteriological samplings collected from several sites in that area Friday tested negative for the presence of harmful bacteria.<br />
