Jefferson couple arrested for identity theft, burglary

JEFFERSON - A Jefferson couple has been arrested on several charges for different burglaries in Jackson County.<br />

According to a release from the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, 25-year-old Skyler Don Blair and 26-year-old Danielle Marie Blair were arrested following an entering auto theft and a theft at the Pendergrass Flea Market.<br />

The couple allegedly broke into a vehicle in the Clover Mill subdivision and stole a wallet. Authorities say they used the victim's debit card at several locations across the county. <br />
<br />
After their arrest, Sheriff's Deputies discovered the two could be involved in more burglaries, specifically, one at the Pendergrass Flea Market. Deputies discovered items stolen during the Flea Market theft at the couple's home, as well as a purse stolen from a Florida victim. The couple allegedly used the Florida victim's identity to obtain a credit card.<br />

The couple has been charged with one count of burglary, one count of entering auto, two counts of identity fraud, one count of financial transaction card theft and four counts of financial transaction card fraud. <br />
<br />
The couple could face more charges stemming from the Flea Market theft, however, those will be charged by the Jefferson Police Department.<br />
