S. Hall rabies alert

GAINESVILLE - A rabies alert has been posted for the Poplar Springs Road area of South Hall.

This follows contact in that area recently between a "domesticated" animal (county officials did not specify what kind) and a rabid skunk.

This is the 14th confirmed case of rabies in Hall County this year.
