OAKWOOD -- West Hall improved to 8-7 on the season after routing Johnson 10-1 Friday in girls softball action.
Carleigh Hulsey got the win for the Lady Spartans. Madison Tasker had a two-run double for West Hall. Susan Vasquez and Victoria Tuttle each had two hits for West Hall.
West Hall next will play five-time C=defending Class AA state champion Buford on Monday in Oakwood. Johnson will play host to Monroe Area on Tuesday.
