CLEVELAND - Qualifying for this year's county elections in White County starts next week, and White County Commission Chairman Travis Turner is among the candidates seeking another term in office.
"I would appreciate White County's support again as serving you as chairman of the board of commissioners for the next term," said Turner.
In addition to Turner's post, Terry Goodger and Craig Bryant's seats on the commission are also up for grabs.
Qualifying will be open for all constitutional offices next week as well, including sheriff, tax commissioner, clerk of court and probate judge.
The qualifying for both the Republican and Democratic parties will be conducted in the lobby of the White County Courthouse. Non- Partisan races qualify in the probate judges office. Qualifying begins at 9 a.m. Wednesday May 23 and run through noon May 25.
