GAINESVILLE - The search resumed Thursday morning for a Cobb County man, missing and presumed drowned in Lake Lanier since Tuesday afternoon.
48-year-old Fabian Yates of Powder Springs disappeared after jumping off his houseboat near Browns Bridge and failing to resurface.
Meanwhile, the Hall County Coroner's Office has identified the man who drowned Tuesday about the same time near Van Pugh Park as 19-year-old Tomas Larumbe of Scottdale.
In addition, Assistant Coroner John Wayne Abernathy says the office still hasn't heard from the medical examiner on the cause of death of an Illinois man who died after being pulled from the water at Lake Lanier Islands Monday.
