OAKWOOD -- The Johnson girls tennis team won all three singles points to pick up a 3-2 victory over Chestatee on Wednesday in Oakwood.
The Lady Knights' Cady Nix defeated Tiffani Poole 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, while Maggie Turner took out Lily Kiang 6-1, 6-0, at No. 2 singles. Harlee Robson sealed the win for Johnson, defeating Brooke Reynolds 6-1, 6-1.
Chestatee's Emily Elder/Sarah Beth Tomkersley defeated Claire Crain/Carlyn Ivey 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles, while Carly Dale/Lauren McNitt took out Karina Rivera/Emma Rowlett 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 singles.
