Baseball: Warriors move into tie for 8-AAA lead

CLEVELAND -- White County moved into a tie for first place in Region 8-AAA after taking an 11-1 win over West Hall in five innings.

Georgia-signee David Sosebee went the distance for the Indians (7-1, 6-1 in region) in earning the win.

Hayden Cummins and Bo Medlock provided the bulk of the offense for White County, each belting a home run and combining for four RBI.

Jake Shirley and Chandler Newton each had one hit for West Hall (3-6, 1-6). The Spartans play host to Lanier on Monday.

White County travels to Oconee County Monday in abttle for first place in the region.
