If you're headed to Laurel Park on Lake Lanier in Gainesville on Saturday morning, you'll find a huge crowd of high school fishermen.

The 2025 Georgia High School Association Bass Fishing State Championships will be held at Laurel Park. 111 teams from schools across the state will compete for a state championship at the state's largest lake.
Closer to home, Buford, Jefferson, North Forsyth, East Forsyth, Lumpkin County and Dawson County all have teams in the field.
